Our
Aims
The aims
of The Banbury Steam Society are to
promote the preservation and
enjoyment of vintage vehicles and
machinery of historic interest.
We
achieve this through: the
preservation work
that is
undertaken by our members, our
monthly meetings at Broughton
and North Newington Sports and
Social Club, near Banbury and our
annual vintage vehicle rally and
country fayre at Bloxham, near
Banbury, which aims to educate the
public and maintain interest in the
preservation of historic equipment.
Our
annual rally is widely regarded as
one of the largest and best in the
country, with over 1000
exhibits and 14,000 visitors in
2006.
